Rump is a tender cut, good for everyday eating. Minced rump is perfect for those recipes that do not require a lot of fat as it is lean.
It makes fantastic meatballs, mince for mince & tatties & Lasagne as it has such a rich flavour.

Heat a little oil in a pan. Add steak fry for 5 minutes add vegetables and fry for further 5 minutes. Add stock and cover with a lid. Cook for approx. 45minutes. Ensure meat is cook thoroughly and piping hot before serving.
If cooked rare there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present.
