PRIZE DRAW TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Promoter

The promoter is Cooper Quality Butchers Limited, 20A Meadow Road, Motherwell, ML1 1QB.

2. Promotion Period

The promotion opens on 29 September 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 31 October 2026.

Orders placed outside this period will not qualify for entry.

3. Eligibility

The promotion is open to customers aged 18 or over who place a qualifying online order with Cooper Butchers during the promotion period.

A qualifying order is an online order which:

is placed between 29 September and 31 October 2026 inclusive; and
is booked for collection or delivery between 18 December and 31 December 2026 inclusive.

This includes qualifying festive orders for both the Christmas and New Year periods.

Employees of Cooper Quality Butchers Limited and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

Normal Cooper Butchers ordering, collection and delivery terms, product availability and minimum order requirements, where applicable, continue to apply.

4. How to Enter

Customers who place a qualifying online order during the promotion period will be automatically entered into the prize draw.

There is no separate competition entry form, promotional code or additional action required.

There is a maximum of one entry per customer, regardless of how many qualifying orders that customer places during the promotion period.

For the purposes of this promotion, Cooper Quality Butchers Limited reserves the right to treat orders as belonging to the same customer where they reasonably appear to have been placed by or on behalf of the same individual.

No additional charge is made for entry into the prize draw. Products are sold at their normal applicable selling prices.

5. The Prize

There is one prize.

The winner will receive Cooper’s credit equal to their total qualifying festive order value, up to a maximum of £100.

Where the winner has placed more than one qualifying Christmas or New Year order during the promotion period, the value of those qualifying orders will be combined for the purpose of calculating the prize, subject to the £100 maximum.

For example:

If the winner’s total qualifying festive order value is £75, they will receive £75 Cooper’s credit.
If the winner’s total qualifying festive order value is £130, they will receive the maximum £100 Cooper’s credit.

The winner’s qualifying Christmas and/or New Year order(s) must be collected or delivered and paid for as normal. The prize will not be deducted from the amount due for those festive orders.

The prize is not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and no cash alternative will be offered.

6. Amendments to Qualifying Orders

Customers may make permitted amendments to an existing qualifying festive order in accordance with Cooper Butchers’ normal ordering procedures.

An amendment to an existing qualifying order will not create an additional entry into the prize draw.

For the purpose of calculating the winner’s prize, the value used will be the final value of their qualifying festive order(s) actually fulfilled and paid for, up to the maximum prize value of £100.

Therefore, where the value of a winning customer’s qualifying order(s) increases or decreases before fulfilment, the final prize value will reflect the amount actually fulfilled and paid for, subject to the £100 maximum.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

The selected winner’s entitlement to receive the prize is conditional upon their qualifying festive order(s) being fulfilled and paid for.

Where part of a winning customer’s qualifying order is cancelled or refunded, but they still complete another part of their qualifying festive order(s), their prize will be calculated using the final amount actually fulfilled and paid for, up to £100.

For example, if a winner originally has qualifying festive orders totalling £130 but ultimately collects and pays for £90 of qualifying products, their prize will be £90 Cooper’s credit.

If the selected winner cancels, receives a refund for, or otherwise fails to complete all of their qualifying festive orders, they will no longer be eligible to receive the prize.

In those circumstances, Cooper Quality Butchers Limited may select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries.

8. Winner Selection

The prize draw will take place within 7 days of the promotion closing, and no later than 7 November 2026.

One provisional winner will be selected at random from all valid eligible entries using a verifiably random computerised selection process.

A record of the draw and selection process will be retained by Cooper Quality Butchers Limited.

The selected customer will be treated as the provisional winner until their eligibility has been verified and their qualifying festive order(s) have subsequently been fulfilled and paid for in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

9. Winner Notification

The provisional winner will be contacted using the contact details supplied when placing their online order.

Cooper Quality Butchers Limited will make reasonable attempts to contact the selected winner.

If the selected winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, is found to be ineligible, or has otherwise failed to comply with these Terms & Conditions, Cooper Quality Butchers Limited reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries.

The winner may be asked to confirm their identity and qualifying order details before the prize is issued.

10. Issuing and Using the Cooper’s Credit

The provisional winner will be notified following the prize draw in November.

Their final prize value will be confirmed once their qualifying Christmas and/or New Year order(s) have been successfully fulfilled and paid for.

The Cooper’s credit will be issued from 1 January 2027.

The credit will be valid from 1 January 2027 until 31 March 2027 inclusive.

Any unused balance remaining after 31 March 2027 will expire.

The credit may only be redeemed with Cooper Butchers. It is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and no cash alternative will be offered.

11. Winner Information

Cooper Quality Butchers Limited will make available information indicating that a valid award has taken place, as required by applicable promotional rules.

This may include the winner’s surname and county.

The winner may object to their information being published or made available, or may request that the amount of information published or made available is reduced.

Where a winner objects to their information being published or made available, Cooper Quality Butchers Limited may still be required to provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority or another relevant regulatory body if requested.

12. General

Cooper Quality Butchers Limited reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to exclude an entry where there are reasonable grounds to believe these Terms & Conditions have not been followed.

Cooper Quality Butchers Limited reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the promotion where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable. Any such action will only be taken where necessary and will be carried out fairly, taking account of the interests of participants.

The promotion will be administered fairly and the prize will be awarded in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

13. Personal Information

Personal information supplied in connection with the promotion will be used as necessary to administer the prize draw, verify eligibility, contact the winner and award the prize.

Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with Cooper Butchers’ applicable privacy policy.
